Gilbert F. Dumyahn Age 83
At rest Monday June 7, 2010 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years Theresa E. (nee Herbenak) Dumyahn, daughter Kathleen (Rick) Orlowski, grandchildren Todd (Marion) Placher, Robert Placher, Ryan Orlowski, Kristen Orlowski, great grand daughter Summer Placher, brother Bernard T. (Rita) Dumyahn Sr., Helen (late Donald) Malinowski, Lois (Late Ronald) Smith, sister in law Dorothy Dumyahn, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Born in Joliet. Preceded in death by parents Clarence E. Sr. and Mary A. (nee Strametz) Dumyahn, Son Kevin R. Dumyahn, brother Clarence Jr. He was a veteran of the US Army WW II Pacific Theater, worked as a carpenter and mill rite for many years retiring from Local 174. Services will be held Thursday June 10, 2010 from the Funeral Home at 10:30 AM to St. John Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Special thanks to the Medical Staff at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, Heartland Cardiovascular Center, and the Staff of Sunny Hill Nursing Home.
