Gertrude E. Gregorich (nee Bahnmuller), age 82, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.

Trudy, Gigi, as called by her family and friends was an outstanding homemaker for most of her life. She always said her greatest accomplishment was her family, as she knew she was meant to be a mother.

Trudy loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed a good laugh. Her grandchildren Cody, Cassidy, Hannah and Nolan meant the world to her and she loved them so much. Trudy was recently blessed with a great-grandson Kayden. She enjoyed her “trips to the boat” to play the slots at Harris Casino, couponing, reading countless religion books and just reading in the sun. Trudy will be remembered for her beautiful smile that could light up a room, laugh and sunny disposition. She is a beautiful soul who will be dearly missed.

Survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Michael) Kehn and Lisa (Scott) Boucher; grandchildren, Cody and Cassidy Kehn, Hannah and Nolan Boucher; great-grandson, Kayden; Dottie Hansen of New York; and nieces in Ohio and New York.

Preceded in death by her father, Charles Bahnmuller; mother, Louise Krauss; sister, Louise McBeath; and brother, Charles Bahnmuller.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gertrude’s name to Guardian Angel Community Services, 168 North Ottawa Street, Joliet IL, 60432. As a child, she and her four siblings were a part of the foster care program in New York for several years.

Per Trudy’s request services will be held privately.
