Geri Renee Gallman

Geri R. Gallman, age 42, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 with her loving family by her side.

Geri is survived by her loving parents, Eddie and Pat Vasquez; sister, Tracy Goffard; brother, Eddie Vasquez Jr.; 8 loving nieces, Kristen, Nicole, Alani, Aila, Avrianna, Akirah, Axenia, Axzyla; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Hettie Medlin; paternal grandfather, Carl Vasquez; and aunt, Dolores Lewis; uncle, Richard Vasquez.

Geri was a loving aunt and adored all 8 of her nieces. She was a strong independent woman and was baptized at Parkview Christian Church two years ago. She loved a good bargain and playing scratch off tickets. Geri was an avid T.V. watcher where she gained a lot of knowledge.  She will be truly missed by all that knew her.

A celebration of Geri’s life will begin on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 with a service to be held in the Tezak Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jason Anhalt officiating. Interment to follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Willow Springs. Visitation will be onTuesday, April 19, 2016 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 4-8 p.m.
