Geraldine Anne Solley

Geraldine Anne Solley, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025. She was born to the late Joseph J. and Martha (nee Chmielewski) Kravish, and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold E. Solley Sr.; son, Stephen Solley; great-granddaughter, Taryn Bandringa; and brother, Wayne Kravish.

Geraldine is survived by her three children, Harry (Kim+) Solley, Pamela (Stanley) Lasinis, and Richard (Janine) Solley. She was a proud grandmother to Dawn Solley, Tiffany Lasinis Mason, Sonny Lasinis, and Stephen (Sara Hesse) Lasinis. Her legacy also lives on in her great-granddaughter, Rylee Bandringa. She is further survived by her loving sister, Judy (Fred) Tijan, as well as her nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends whose lives she touched.

Geraldine’s gentle spirit, warmth, and devotion to her family will be remembered by all who knew her.

Funeral services were  held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lightways Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL, a cause that was close to her heart.
