Age 81, called home by our Lord on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Boley; parents, Raymond and Mary Heintz; sister, Marie Anderson; brothers, Raymond and Richard Heintz; and granddaughter, Erin Boley.
Survived by her sisters, Virginia Moore of Joliet, Ann Ashbrook of Fullerton, CA; brother, Joseph Heintz of Wilmington, children, Ginny Kurtz of Joliet, Bob Boley, O. Carm. of Joliet, Geri (Tom) Richardson of Shorewood, Paul (Paula) Boley of Joliet, and David (Pat) Boley of Joliet, ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Gerry was born in Joliet and a member of St. Patrick Parish, involved with the Mother's Club. Her work career included caseworker for the Joliet Township for the Supervisor's Office; Ass't Admin. for the County C.E.T.A. program and past President of the State Case Workers Assoc.
Gerry retired with husband Bob in 1981, spending 25 joyful years in God's Country, Arkdale, WI, next to their dear and close neighbors Sharon and Danny Johnson.
From where funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28th
at 9:30 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 710 W. Marion St., Joliet at 10 AM with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 27 from 3 to 8 PM
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to St.Patrick's School Adopt A Child Fund.
