George Orlovich ""Dayman""

Passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. Survived by his two brothers Steve (Lois) and Fred (Kathryn) Orlovich. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews especially Mike, Chuck (Patty), Chad, Jeremy and Josh; close friend Marty. Preceded in death his parents Michael and Catherine Orlovich; two sisters Annie and Rosie Orlovich; brothers Eli (late Anne), Raymond (Lois Ann), Joseph (Millie), Sam (late Louise), Mike ""Meach"" (late Mary) Orlovich. George was a bartender at the 400 Club in Rockdale for 52+ years. George was a PFC in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in WWII stationed at South Pacific for 26 months. He was wounded in action and received three honorable discharge patches and various other awards. George was an avid Chicago White Sox fan. Although George lived most of his life in Rockdale, before going to Sunny Hill he lived with Chuck (Patty) and enjoyed the outdoors, and made many new friends in Morris. In lieu of flowers donations in George"s name to Sunny Hill Nursing Home or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.

Private Funeral Services Were Held. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
