George L. Meads ""Taxi"" Age 82 At rest Tuesday February 19, 2008 at Provena St. Joseph medical Center. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years Elvira Nee Hernandez. Children Georgia (Fred) Suhadolc, Monte, William, Donna (Bruce) Stimac, Tony (Sue) and Mike (Bobi Johnston), grandchildren Melanie, Dwayne, Greg, Anita, Amber, Misti, Courtney, and Beth, great grandchildren Mallory and Addison, sister-in-law Marion Goodwyn. Also survived by sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Arthur, and granddaughter Tiffany. Special thanks to Provena St. Joseph medical Center, Villa Franciscan and nurses Rachael and Stella. He was a veteran of US Navy WWII, retired from Material Service Corp. Member of Teamsters Local 179. He was a friend to everyone he met.
