Survived by beloved wife of 71 years, Stella M. (nee Barnik); beloved father of Judith (James) Behrmann and Patricia (Patrick) McGinnis; beloved grandfather of John (Cecilia Leung), Jeffrey, Kathy and Michael (Jennifer Reichenberger) McGinnis, Patricia (Kenneth) Krock and Matthew Behrmann; beloved great-grandfather of Kaitlyn Krock and Vaughn McGinnis; three brothers, Nicholas (Josephine), William (Donna), and Daniel (Marge) Keca; one sister-in-law, Phyllis Keca; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Anna (nee Slobodnik) Keca; three brothers, Michael Franich, John and Edward Keca; and five sisters, Mary Brick, Ann Page, Helen Mutz, Marge English, Katie Shiffer and Theresa Keca in infancy.
Long-time member of the St. Raymond's senior group.
In lieu of flowers donations to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus, St. Mary Nativity or St. Joseph Catholic Parishes in George's name would be appreciated.
From where services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 9:30am to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-7pm with a Prayer Vigil Service at 5:30 PM.
