Passed Away at his home Tuesday night, December 22, 2009. Lifelong area resident and talented musician who was known as Joliet"s Own Elvis while playing with his band, Bill Duckmanton and The Unpredictable Chargers. Bill was a truck driver for 20 years and than retired from Apollo Colors in 1999. Survived by his wife Sheila (nee Cox), his children, Clinton ""Rich"" (Donna) Duckmanton of Joliet, Kathy Duckmanton of Joliet, Harold ""Snook"" Duckmanton of Orlando, FL, Joseph (Jodi) Hulbert of Minnesota, Patrick Welch of Florida, Charles (Nicole) Lacey of Minooka, Helen Lacey of Seneca, and Shannon Lacey of Peoria, along with 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also survived by one brother and two sisters, as well as numerous neices, nephews and cousins. Preceded by his parents Ethelda (Pelten) and George Duckmanton, and one brother Gene Duckmanton.
