Geoff Tate, 30, of Chicago, formerly of Plainfield, at rest on March 2, 2011. Loving son of Larry and Mary; dear grandson of Thelma Tate; nephew of Lois (Z B) Mayo, Jean (Ralph) Zimmerman, Nancy (Larry) Fox, Carolyn Tate and Ron Tate; cousin of Kevin (Carrie) Driscoll, Michelle (Greg) Bollinger, Krissy (Bill) Carter, Ali (Ziggy) Tkaczenko, Cindy Fox, Tracy (Rich) Novak and Debby Fox. Preceded in death by his grandparents Nathan Tate and Robert and Berniel Zentarski. Geoff graduated Plainfield Central High School in 1998 and attended the University of Iowa and Northern Illinois University. He was employed as a manager at Chili"s (E.R.J. Dining). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Ste. 1210, Chicago, IL 60601. A Celebration of Geoff"s life will begin at 5 pm on Sunday March 6 at the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be from 1 pm until the time of the memorial service at:
