Genevieve F. Vranicar
January 27, 1918 — January 29, 2015
Genevieve F. Vranicar, age 97, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
Preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Agnes (nee Kambic) Vranicar; and eleven brothers and sisters.
Genevieve is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Genevieve served in the United States Navy during WWII. Since her retirement Gen has been an active volunteer most recently at Joliet Area Community Hospice.
In lieu of flowers donations in Genevieve's name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus. Per Genevieve's wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet at a later date.
