Frederick R Jursinic

Frederick R. Jursinic Age 83, died peacefully at home on March 2, 2006 in Joliet following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Joliet, IL June 29, 1922. Frederick was employed at the U.S. Steel for 34 years. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy (Mau) Jursinic; six brothers, Albert, John, Joseph, Peter, Rudolph and Raymond; three sisters, Rose, Mary, Merichka and one grandson, Michael. Beloved father of Elizabeth (Robert) Hughes and Frederick M. (Linda) Jursinic; 6 grandchildren, Kenneth (Lois) Young, Katherine (Grant) Lucas, Margaret (Thomas) Foust, Frederick (Stephanie) Young, James (Maki) Jursinic and Thomas (Robyn) Jursinic; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Joseph's Church in Joliet and member of the Holy Name Society. Member of the Cantigny Post 367. Served in WW II in the Army Air Corp in England for three years receiving the rank of Corporal. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Frederick's name to Joliet Cancer Society and Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated.
