Fred A. Smith

Age 79. At rest Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Salem Village.

Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Dolores (nee Vidmar); son, Fred P. (Karen Costello) Smith; grandfather of Tom and John Smith.

Preceded in death by his parents, Fred A. Sr. and Alvina (nee Fitz).

Fred was born in Joliet and resided in Channahon since 1976. Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 37 years of service and Robert William of Lemont. He bowled with The Fishniters at Washington Lanes.

From where services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 9am to St. Joseph Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2-7pm.
