Frank J. Wicnienski

Passed away at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center on October 20, 2007. He was 91 years old.
Was a Veteran of WWII serving in the U.S.A.F. Attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Was a pilot on the B-24 Bomber.
Frank was a past President of the Chemical Workers Union at Blockson Chemical. He retired from Olin Matheson after 30 years of service.
Preceded in death by his parents Anna and John Wicnienski; and brother Ray (late Dorothy) Wicnienski.
Survived by his wife Florence (nee Durka); children Marilyn (Tom) Biederstadt; granddaughter Carrie Biederstadt; son Michael (Kathy) Wicnienski; daughter Nancy Wicnienski; two sisters Martha (the late Edward) Swan and Mary Lou Wicnienski. Numerous nephews and nieces also survive.
From where services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 9:30 AM to St. Patrick's Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be held on Monday 2-4 PM.
