Frank G. Vargo

Age 85, at rest on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at his late residence. Survived by children Marianne (Jim) Paul, Tom (Deb), Donna (Ron) Menegon and Bob Vargo; grandchildren Jason Paul, Josh, Nick (Maggie), Katie (Chris) Bersano and Bryan Vargo, Breann and Alyssa Menegon; great-granddaughter Gracie Mae Vargo; two sisters Ann Keers and Helen Kuzma; one sister-in-law Betty Vargo. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife of 56 years Ann Vargo; parents; one sister Veronica Schlack; brothers John, Michael, Edward, Frank and Raymond. Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII. Retired from Romeoville High School after 40+ years of service. The family would like to thank the Joliet Area Community Hospice especially Monica and Linda for their dedicated help. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank"s name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.

From where services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Interment St. Mary Nativity. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-7 PM.
