Went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 surrounded by his family. Survived by his loving wife of 43 years Lorraine (nee Witczak) Panian; dear children Frank E. Panian and Valerie (Ryan) Hanes; precious grandchildren Nathan and Kylie Panian; Brianna, Courtney, Megan and Erin Hanes; one sister Anna Mae (Gene) Hibler; brother-in-law James (Miriam) Witczak and sister-in-law Joann (Ray) Dempsey. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death one son Steven Panian; parents Frank G. and Anna (nee Smolich) Panian. Worked for Marshall Beauty Supply. Frank was an usher at First Assembly of God in Joliet. He restored and enjoyed working on cars most recently his 1935 Dodge. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, always making them laugh.
A Chapel Service will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 7:00 PM with Pastor Bob Hahn officiating. Visitation will also be on Sunday beginning at 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
