Frank T. Micklich ""Ted"" Age 84
At rest suddenly while on his way to a Colorado Ski Trip Saturday February 27, 2010. Survived by his brother Leonard J. (Shirley) Micklich, one nice Pamela (Craig) Dixon, two nephews Douglas L. (Loralee) and Bradley J. Micklich, three great nephews Andrew, John-Charles and Benjamin and one great niece Laura. Numerous cousins in the US and Slovenia. Born in Joliet. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Marie (nee Sabec) Micklich. Retired from UOP and Dow Chemical Co. were he worked as a Chemical Engineer. Graduate of St. Joseph School, Joliet Catholic High School (Class of 1943), Purdue University (Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering 1948) Member of Illinois Chess Association, UPO Chess Team, Slovenian Cultural Center, 400 Chicago Ski Club. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home Friday March 5, 2010 at 9:30 AM to St. Joseph Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Visitation Thursday from 4 to 8 PM Interment St. Joseph Cemetery
