Frank Kluk, age 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joyce M. Kluk; sisters, Marianne (Lawrence) Wysocki and Celestine (the late James) Kimery; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his son, Michael F. Kluk; parents, John and Agnes (nee Surman) Kluk; siblings, Josephine (John) Ludwikowski, Genevieve Kluk, Helen (Bruno) Mordawski, Jean (George) Wierdak, Lauretta (Edward) Szmergalski, Cecelia (Raymond) Szmergalski and Therese (Alex) Bielaga.

Frank was a United States Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War and belonged to the Downers Grove American Legion Post #0080. He was a retired Project Supervisor for the Village of Lombard. Frank enjoyed baseball, bowling, playing cards, hockey and music. He will be dearly missed.

A celebration of Frank’s life will begin on Friday, February 24, 2017 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until prayers in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. Per Frank’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Interment will be held privately at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
