Age 93 at rest Sunday February 25,2007 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Survived by his loving wife Eleanor (nee Wruk) of 65 years. One daughter Joan and two sons, William (Susan) Kernc of Peoria, Il.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; his brother Albert (Lorraine) Kernc and sister Ann (the late Joseph) Gregorich. Preceded in death by his parents Frank Sr. and Frances Kernc; one brother Joseph, and one sister Mary Paul; daughter Kathleen (infant); and brother-in-law Frances Paul. Frank worked at Farrell Manufacturing and retired from Rexall Chemical in 1978. Frank was an avid baseball player who was known as 'Windmill' Kernc; he played for manufacturing Co. and Rivals Softball Team. He was also an avid bowler and golfer; and was Secretary of the Monday and Friday Senior Bowling League at Galaxy Bowling Lanes for over 15 years. Frank was also an active member of the Senior Citizens Association, Old Timers Baseball Association and St. Joseph Lodge #2, KSKJ. TEZAK FUNERAL HOME 1211 Plainfield Rd.
