Frank Aguilar

Age 58. At rest Friday August 26, 2011 at RML Specialty Hospital in Hinsdale with his family by his side.

Survived by his loving wife LaVae (nee Drinovsky) Aguilar; 3 loving children, Renee, Anthony, and Vincent Aguilar, his loving mother, Eva Aguilar, 2 granddaughters; Michaela and Marisa, a brother, James (Sharon), 5 sisters; Laura (Victor) Juarez, Leticia (Jose) Torres, Lolita (Jesse) Chavez, Linda (Keith) Mikuta, and Patricia (Ruben) Garcia. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Preceded in death by his father, Jose Aguilar.

Frank was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and resided in the Chicago land area for over 50 years. He retired in 2011 from Romeoville High School as an English Teacher. Aside from being an educator, Frank had a passion for coaching sports, especially Girls Basketball. During his eleven year career as girls" basketball coach, Frank was awarded the Illinois Basketball Coaches" Association District Coach of the year three years in a row.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation at 636 Morris Turnpike Suite 3A Short Hills, NJ. 07078, in Frank"s name would be appreciated.

Funeral Services for Frank Aguilar will be held Wednesday August 31, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Ann"s Church in Channahon for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Jeff Stoneberg officiating. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
