Francis R. ("Jim") Quigley

Francis R. "Jim" Quigley, age 89, died May 22 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.

Survived by his wife, Ann nee (Dolinshek), with whom he would have celebrated his 64th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, May 25; Dennis (Collette), Robert (Marie), and Brian (Maribeth); grandchildren, Matthew Quigley, Jessica (Ken) Knezetic, Danielle Miles, Marikate (Jaime) Manzo, Staci (Bryan) Myers, Christine (Kevin) Miller; his great-grandchildren, Faith, Joey, Stevie, Eli, and Carter; and his sister, Margie (Mario) Borghesi; and brother, Michael Quigley; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded by his parents, Raymond and Florence Quigley; his sisters, Bernice (late Ralph) Patterson, Virginia (late Edward) North, and Helen (late James) Townes.

Retired from Material Service, Lockport, after 40 years of service. He was a WW II Army veteran having served in the Aleutian Island Campaign. He was a life-member of Cantigny Post 367, and one of the Founders of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Joliet.

Jim was a beloved and devoted husband and father.

A Celebration of Jim's life will be held on his birthday, Saturday, June 12, 2010. His family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

THERE WILL BE NO SERVICES AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
