Francis ""Si"" Krameric Age 89
Life long resident of Joliet and a member of St. Joseph Church. At rest Tuesday, May 12, 2010 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Survived by his brother Aloysius (late Anne) Kramerich and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Anton and Barbara (Milcinovic) Krameric, two sisters Helen (John) Gasparic and Ann (Joseph) Skorupa, brothers Adolph (Frances) Kramerich, John ""Sam"" Krameric and Anton (Louise) Krameric.
Si was a buyer for the General Electric Storage Facility and the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant. He was a Veteran of US Army Air Force serving in WWII. He enjoyed fishing with his brother Sam and looked forward to their yearly fishing trips to Wisconsin. After his retirement he helped other family members with their household repairs and was a caregiver for his brother Sam and sister Helen. Si was a kind and generous man who will be missed by his relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph Hospital and Joliet Area Community Hospice for their care and concern for patient comfort and dignity. Memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice in his name will be appreciated.
Si will lie in state at St. Mary Nativity Church Saturday, May 15 from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at St. Mary Nativity Church at 10:30. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. No services at the funeral home.
