Francine C. (Kombol) Cady

Francine C. Cady  (née Kombol), Age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 22, 2023.

Francine was a loving mother to her only child, Craig A. Cady; beloved sister to Marylynn Kombol; beloved sister-in-law to Rosemary Frangella; beloved cousin to Bernadine (Ron) Gudac, Laura (Jerry) Mitok, David Kuhar and Sr. Beth Ann Baricevich. Numerous other cousins also survive.

Preceded in death by her ex-husband, Eugene A. Cady; parents: Frank and Mary (née Tomac) Kombol; siblings: Ronald Kombol, Caroline Ortega.

Francine was born in Joliet and resided in the Joliet area for most of her life. She worked at Wolfson’s Clothing and Jewelry store, 72 N. Chicago St. for more than 17 years. She also worked at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center as a cashier and retired in 2010 after 30 years of service.

Francine was a warm-hearted soul who was always available to her family and friends and would help in any way she could.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Francine’s name may be made to Senior Services of Will County, 251 N. Center St., Joliet, IL 60435.

The family would also like to offer special thanks to Visiting Angels of Plainfield, Story Point Romeoville, and Centered Care Hospice along with the numerous caregivers who provided assistance and comfort to Francine over the years.

The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation on Saturday, September 30,2023  from 12:00PM to 4:00PM. with a chapel service to be held at 3:00 PM at  Tezak’s Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet,IL.
