Francine Bell was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Ms. Francine never met a stranger. She was welcoming to all and known to many as “Mama Bell,” “Mama Frances” or simply “Mama.” She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Missionary Church where she worshipped and served for several years. Francine was employed by Joliet Correctional Center and Caterpillar Logistic Center and gained a host of loving friends who became family. Well loved and respected by all she met, Francine’s legacy of generosity, tenacity, resilience, and kindness will live on through every life she touched.
Francine is joining her Heavenly family, her eldest daughter, Morae Bell, her mother Willie Mae (Green) Williams and Eugene Bell her father, Delia (Green) Bailey her grandmother and Jack Bailey her grandfather.
Her Earthly family, who hold her dearly in their hearts is brother Johnnie B Green and Carrie Mae (Ferguson). Sisters Debbie Bell, Pearl Bell, Princess Bell, Bridget Bell, Margie Bailey and brother Lonnie Bell. Her daughters Stephanie (Bell) and Will Walker; Nicole (Bell) and Joree Richards; Nyree Bell and Rick Holley. Niece Kela Ferguson Green, nephews, John Green, Anthony Green, Jerald Ferguson, Brian Ferguson. Grandchildren Jalen Richards, Mekhi Holley, Jenai Richards, 2Lt. Javaughn Richards in United States Air Force and Jordan Holley and beloved friend, Minnie Jean Holman.
The family invites relatives and friends to join them on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet for a service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
