Frances S. Collier (1919 – 2014)

Frances S. Collier, 94, recently of Worthington, Ohio died October 18, 2014 at Sunrise of Worthington. Frances was born December 16, 1919 in Joliet, Ill., to Joseph and Mary (Klemenc) Skvarcha. She spent her early years in Joliet, Illinois and later many years in Lisle and Wheaton, Illinois. She worked for Standard Oil for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers John Skvarcha and Joseph Skoirchet; sisters Josephine Haggan, Mary Mackovic, Rose Skvarcha, Jennie Phifer; half sisters Margaret Van Meter and Annabelle McAloon and half brothers Anton and William Ivec. Survivors include: her husband William E. Collier; son, Matthew Micetich (Barbara); her grandson Aaron (Priscilla) of Easton, Maryland and her granddaughter Keely of Worthington, Ohio. She has 4 great grandchildren (Isaac, Samuel, Elizabeth and Silas) of Easton, Maryland. A private family service was held in Joliet, Illinois at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery.
