(Laura) Zupancic of Darien, IL., Barbara (Frank) Krohn of Aurora, Mary Ann (Walter) Glogowski of Northfield, IL.; fond grandmother of Christine (Jeffrey) Kohlman and Michael (Jillian) Zupancic, Steven Krohn and Lisa Krohn; and Amelia Glogowski; great-grandchildren Hannah Kohlman and Tyler John Zupancic; two sisters Marcella (late Chester) Karcz and Arlene (John) Kapella. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her loving husband Vitus J. Zupancic; her parents Walter and Helen (nee Kasmarek) Kunke; brothers Walter Sr. (Carol) and Victor (late Dorothy) Kunke.
Retired employee of Chicago Title and Trust (1/68-9/81). World War II Veteran of the Armed Forces (WAC), stationed at the Pentagon; WAC Veteran Association of Chicago Chapter 1. Volunteer in Foster Grandparent Program, Crisis Hotline, Retired and Senior RSVP Program at the Rialto Theatre, and the Joliet Police Department. Member of the Joliet Elks Lodge #296, Rosarians, St. Joseph"s Choir, Slovenian Women"s Union of America, KSKJ, and Senior Parishioners of St. Joseph Church.

From where services will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 9:30 AM to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 PM.
