Florence B. Briski

Florence B. Briski (nee Bostjancic), age 85, peacefully at rest, on Friday, May 31, 2013 at her home.

Florence is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Joseph A. Briski Sr.; her loving children, Joseph Jr. (Lynn), Robert (Margaret) Briski, and Mary Lou (Richard) Stonitsch; her beloved grandchildren, Joseph III (Karen), Paul (Melissa), Robert (Lindsay) and Daniel Briski, Christine (Matthew) Brennan, Mark, and Mariah Stonitsch; and her great-grandchildren, Ashley, Jeremy, Molly, Isabelle, Alyssa, Justin, Jocelyn, Ava, Brent, and Audrey; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Tomazic) Bostjancic; two grandchildren, Jennifer Briski-Hilgenberg and Matthew Fracaro Jr.; her brother Joseph (Marie) Bostjancic and sister Mary (John) Matthews.

Florence was a lifelong parishioner of St. Anne Catholic Church in Crest Hill. She was a member of Women of the Moose, KSKJ Society, and the Croatian Cultural Club. Florence retired from Joliet Pattern in Crest Hill, IL after 37 years of service. She loved dancing and never missed a weekend. She was also an avid reader. Florence was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be truly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in FlorenceA�??s name may be directed to St. Anne Catholic Church building fund.

A Celebration of FlorenceA�??s life will begin on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. with prayers in the funeral home chapel, then driving in procession to St. Anne Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery in Crest Hill. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at TezakA�??s Home to Celebrate Life, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet.
