Everett T. Henry

Everett T. Henry, age 92 passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016.

Everett is survived by his two loving sons, Jim (Wendy) Henry and Paul Henry; grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, Brian, Nicholas and Ryan Henry; special companion, JoAnne Klosowski; devoted caregiver, Anne Nguyen; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bernadine Henry (1998); siblings, Ellen Ruth Henry, John Wilson Henry, Robert Lyle (Mary)  Henry, Virginia Elizabeth Henry, Clarence Milton (Irene) Henry and Lola Blanch (Louis) Koenig.

Everett was raised on a farm in Southern Illinois and was employed for 32 years at International Harvester. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan and was able to proudly watch them win the World Series. One of Everett’s greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren and attending their many sporting events. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Everett’s name to Journey Care Foundation, 405 Lake Zurich Road, Barrington, IL 60010 would be appreciated.

A celebration of Everett’s life will begin on Saturday, November 12, 2016 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet.
