Evelyn M. Zola (nee Enich)
Age 81. Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2009 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family. Survived by her devoted husband of 57 years Thomas Zola; three daughters Cindy Zola, Laurie (Joe) Jelinek, and Gail (Alex) Kostueck; four granddaughters Nadia Zola; Emily and Rachel Jelinek; and Olivia Kostueck. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friend Dorothy Borgra. Preceded in death by her daughter Sherri (Roger) Hewlett; parents Thomas and Mildred Enich; brothers Nick (in childhood) and George Enich; sister Dorothy Zouganelis. Longtime parishioner of St. John Vianney of Lockport. Evelyn was an amazing homemaker who was a gifted cook and baker known especially for her wonderful pies. Evelyn spent her life devoted to her family.
From where services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 9:30 AM to St. Paul the Apostle Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-8 PM.
