Eva Aguilar

Eva I. Aguilar (nee Isais), age 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 25, 2019 with her loving family by her side.

Eva is survived by her loving children, Leticia (Jaime) Torres, Lolita (Jesse) Chavez, Linda (Keith) Mikuta, Joseph (Sharon) Aguilar, and Patricia Garcia; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, LaVae Aguilar; and sons-in-law, Victor Juarez and Ruben Garcia.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Aguilar; and children, Frank and Laura Aguilar.

Eva was born on September 28, 1929 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Eva loved to knit and would often make blankets for her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eva’s name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.

A private visitation and service for Eva I. Aguilar will be held at a later date.
