Age 59. Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 26, 2006 at his home with his family by his side. Survived by his loving children, Gina (Dan) Boggs and Richard ""Rich"" (Jodi) Cimino; six grandchildren, Michael and Emma Boggs, and Jenni, Jessi, Jerry ""Bud"" and Jacob ""Jake"" Daniels; a great grandchild, Nathan ""Bug"" Smith; his loving mother, Mildred ""Milly"" D. (late Salvatore) (nee Osborne) Cimino; a sister, Barbara (Chuck) Giaiamo; two brothers, Michael ""Mickey"" (Kathy) Cimino and Robert ""Bob"" (Carol) Cimino. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Maryann; his father, Salvatore J. Cimino; and a brother, Francis J. Cimino. Gene was born in Pennsylvania, and was a lifelong Elwood area resident. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a proud and dedicated member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #422. He retired from the County of Will Land Use Department. Eugene was an avid golfer, and loved to eat.
