Ernest C. Fagiano, age 83, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
Ernest is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Loretta (nee Kramerich); loving children, Jane and Greg Fagiano; cherished grandchildren, Anthony Fagiano, Christina (Cesar) Valle, and Dominic Fagiano; cherished great grandchildren, Christopher and Isabel Valle.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Minnie Fagiano.
Ernest worked at Joliet Wrought Washer Works formerly in Rockdale for 32 years followed by employment at Filtration Group in Joliet until retirement. He was a life-long parishioner at St Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet. He had many interests to include traveling, music, stamp collecting and was a World War II history buff. As a member of the Will County Threshermans Association, Ernest was an avid collector of small steam engines and models participating in shows across the Midwest. Recently he was a member of The Blenders. He was an avid Chicago White Sox fan with a wonderful sense of humor.

A Celebration of Ernest’s life will begin on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. then driving in procession to Church of St. Anthony in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment of cremated remains to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet.
