Age 37. At rest Saturday October 15, 2011 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet.
Survived by her loving parents Steven and Elvia Nelson; one brother, Bryon (Amanda) Nelson; 3 nephews, Gabe, Gideon, and Gavin Nelson. Her loving Fiance, Mark Holt. Her special friend, Sheri Gustafson. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents.
Ericka was born in Joliet and resided in Portage, IN for most of her life, living back in Joliet for the last six years. She was employed at Staples Inc. Ericka loved to go to the beach any chance she could. She was also an avid bike rider in her free time, and loved Lake Shore DriveA�??s beach areas. Ericka was very excited about her upcoming wedding to Mark. She was dearly loved, and will be terribly missed by all who knew her.
