Emma M. Quigley (nee Ecker), age 98, at rest on Monday, March 16, 2015 with her loving family by her side.
Emma is survived by her loving children, Jane (Richard) Breen, Richard J. (Sandra) Quigley, and James (Mary Ann) Quigley; 13 cherished grandchildren; 10 cherished great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Quigley; parents; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Emma's greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home and Joliet Area Community Hospice for the extraordinary care they provided.
A Celebration of Emma's life will begin on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 with a visitation from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home Chapel, 1201 Wyoming St., Joliet. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Mausoleum in Romeoville. There will be NO VISITATION OR SERVICES HELD AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
