Elsie was a proud U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII as a member of the Waves. Throughout her life, Elsie worked and made many friends at APSA, Hallmark Services Corporation, and Lewis University. She loved baking, playing cards with friends, going out to eat, and most of all she loved her granddaughter Kate, who could brighten her day in a moment. She was the best mother and mother-in-law that anyone could ask for. Elsie was the healthiest mix of frankness, honesty, sincerity and humor. She was truly one of a kind.
