Terdich, Elizabeth Cecilia (nee Vidmar)

Age 89 of Crest Hill, Came to her final rest peacefully at Provena St. Joseph Medical Medical Center, with her family by her side Saturday, February 5, 2011.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, John and Aloyzia (nee Stanfel) Vidmar; her husband Anton, son Victor, daughter Lorraine; her brothers Benny, Johnny and Anton Vidmar, her sisters Mimi Stefanich and Agnes Burns; brothers-in-law Bill, Matt, Frank and Edward Terdich, Tony Stefanich and Francis Burns; sisters-in-law, Ann Gendron, Molly Vidmar, Jane Vidmar, Helen Terdich and Jewel Terdich.

Loving mother of Lawrence (Sandy) of Crest hill, Janet (Mike) Knight of Olmsted Falls, OH, Paul (Cecille) of Crest Hill, Donna (Terry) Thompson of Crest Hill, Robert of Joliet and Tony (Shady Oaks of Homer Glen).

Proud Grandmother of Craig (Lindsey) Terdich, Brian Terdich, Robert Thompson (Angie), Nicole (Charles) Brock, Sarah and Jessie Knight, and Jenna Thompson. Great-Grandmother of Charles Brock III, Lilly Ann Brock, Brodie Thompson, Tyler Lofek, Eban Thompson and Ethan Terdich.

Elizabeth is also survived by her dear sister, Louise Rade; sisters-in-law Theresa Terdich and Ann Vidmar, brother-in-law Harry Gendron of Schaumburg, and also numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the 4th floor ICU nurses at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center for their care and compassion, and also to the aides and staff of Rosewood Nursing Care Center. We will Always remember our Mom"s generous and caring demeanor. Elizabeth was also a life-long member of St. Joseph Church and choir and KSKJ Life ""A�?? St. Joseph #2.

A celebration of Elizabeth"s life will begin with prayers at the Funeral home on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 9:30am; then proceed to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 3:00 to 8:00pm.
