Elizabeth A�??BettyA�?i�� J. Seeman nee Smith, age 85, at rest on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home. Loving mother of Donna (Anthony) Spillie, Patricia (Glen) Marcum, William (Vicky), Raymond (Janette) and Michael Seeman;

dearest grandmother of Amanda Spillie, Brian Spillie, Brett (Samantha) Marcum, Patrick Marcum, Allison (Benjamin) Gunnink, Tyler Marcum, William (Tiffany King) Seeman, Benjamin Seeman, Michael (Kylie) Baltz and Katelyn Seeman;

great-grandmother of Conner, Bristol, Clara, Gianna and Sophia; sister-in-law of James Gans and Mary Ellen Smith and Donald and Dorothy Seemann; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond W. Seeman (2004); one daughter, Mary Elizabeth, in infancy, two sisters, Jean (Oliver) Apgar and Rosemary Gans; two brothers, Charles and Robert Smith.

Betty was born in Joliet and was a lifelong resident. She loved to crochet and was a devout Cubs fan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in BettyA�??s name to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.



A Celebration of BettyA�??s life will begin on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home, 1201 Wyoming Avenue, Joliet, IL with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral mass at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home.
