Elizabeth Rudman Nee Spreitzer Age 92 Went home to our Heavenly Father February 3, 2010 at the Joliet Area Hospice Home.
Elizabeth was born in Joliet on December 12, 1917 and was a lifelong area resident. She worked at American Can Company for several years before becoming a homemaker, devoted wife and a mother figure to many of her nieces and nephews. She was a loving individual whose kindness knew no bounds and will be missed by many.
Survived by her loving family; Kathy Panian of Bedford, TX, Tony Panian, Jr., of Abilene, TX, Norma Williams of Bedford, TX, Mark Vines of Abilene, TX, Ron Panian of San Mateo, CA, and Don Panian of Foster City, CA.; her grandchildren Sunni (Xavier) Lazo, Tiffani (Tim) Harrington, Emili (Jaime) Panian; great-grandchildren Ava Lazo, Clara Lazo, and Mazie Harrington, as well as several nieces and nephews. Also survived by sisters Margaret (late Joseph) Bregar, Ann (late Eugene) Washer, and Jean (late James) Anderson; brothers Joseph (late Edna) Spreitzer and Edward (Jackie) Spreitzer.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Rudman, mother Mary (nee Levstik), father Joseph Spreitzer; sisters Mary (late Anton) Smolich, Theresa (late Nick) Rudman, Frances (late Anthony) Panian, Bernice (late Frank) Raspolich.
Elizabeth was a member of the CCW of St. Anne"s Catholic Church in Crest Hill.
The family would like to thank Dr. William Stapleton and staff for the care and compassion given to Elizabeth over the years.
Memorial donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home, then to St. Anne"s Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Inurnment immediately following at St. Mary"s Cemetery in Crest Hill. Visitation will be TODAY from 3:30 PM until 7:30 PM at:
