Loving mother of Michael (Marilyn) and Thomas Kranz, Patricia (Donald) Cates, Karen (Patrick) Ripsky and Sheryl (Tony) Zamarron, daughter-in-law Susan (late Joseph) Kranz; dearest grandmother of 17 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren; one sister, Ann (late Tony) Gregorash; twin brothers, John (late Mary) and Edward (Eleanor) Thomas; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded by her husband, Harry Kranz; son, Joseph; parents, Michael and Pauline Thomas; also preceded by numerous sisters and brothers.
Betty was born in Hibbing, MN currently of Joliet. In lieu of flowers, donations to be used according to the families wishes.
The family of Betty Kranz invites relatives and friends to join them for a visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 PM. Private family interment services will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
