Elder Henry L. Brown, Associate Minister Christ Temple Church of Joliet, at rest Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at Community Nursing and Rehab Center in Naperville.
Survived by his wife, Annie Lee (nee Millsap); five children, Melissa, Anissa, Joseph, Xzleia and Jeffrey; three grandchildren, Matthew, Xzyon and Xzyaniel; 15 brothers and sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lee and Annie (Nee Evans) Brown; two brothers; and one sister.
Henry was born in Laurel, MS. He formerly worked in downtown Joliet as a shoeshine man, and was recently a Minister at Christ Temple Church.
Home-going Celebration Services for Henry L. Brown will begin on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Christ Temple Church, 212 Richards Street with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 p.m. Bishop J.E. Moore officiating. Visitation will be held at Christ Temple Church on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Private Interment will take place at Mt. Glenwood Cemetery at a later date.
