Age 84. At rest on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Survived by her loving children Penelope (Michael) Walker, Mary (Kenneth) Faber, daughter-in-law Marla (Lee) Kim; dearest grandmother of Adam Scrogham, Jonathan Walker and Alex Kim; one sister Anna Hare. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, special neighbors and friends also survive.
Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Rudolph E. Scherle; son Rudy Jon Scherle; parents Henry and Minnie Hare; three brothers and one sister.
Eileen was born and raised in Odell, IL. and has resided in Joliet since 1965. Former member of Stone City Post #2199 V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary and parishioner of St. Ambrose Church.
In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Ambrose or the American Cancer Society in Eileen's name would be appreciated.
From where services will be held on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 10:30 AM to St. Ambrose for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment at Plainfield Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
