Edward F. Zielinski Age 81, at rest Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Hines Veteran Hospital. Survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Dorothy ""Dolly"" (nee Starcevich) Zielinski, loving father of Ron (Debbie) Zielinski,Debbie (Larry) Stoll and Linda Zielinski, dearest grandfather of Meghan Zielinski, Jeff (Tara )Popovich and Adam (Kelly) Popovich, three sisters Elanore (Mike) Zubcic, Dorothy (late Richard) Binzen and Rita (late Casey) Zola, also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by parents Stephen and Rose (nee Szopinski). Edward was born in Joliet and a lifelong resident. Retired from GAF after forty years of service and was a member of Stone City Post #2199.

From where prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 AM then to St. Mary Nativity Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Military Honors under the auspice of Stone City Post #2199. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 7 PM
