Mahoney; dearest grandfather of Melissa and Nicole Mahoney; two sisters, Barb (Ken) Faust and Joyce (late Clem) Lewandowski; one brother, Jack (Phyllis) Mahoney. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded by his wife, Helen (nee Johnston) Mahoney (2004);
two daughters, Denise Marie and Baby Helen Mahoney; parents, Edward and Wilhelmina (nee Lightner) Mahoney; and one sister, Shirley Mahoney.
Edward was born in Joliet and a life long resident, retired from Aramark in 2001 after 31 years of service. He was the owner of Mahoney Racing and the founder of Mahoney Enterprises, known on the C.B. as ""Easy Money"". He also worked as a Baker for many years.
A chapel service will be held on Saturday March 17, 2007 at the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Peter Holmer officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation Friday 3 to 8:00 p.m.
