Age 88, at rest suddenly Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary ""Mitzi"" J. (nee Janesh) Kapsch; loving father of Bonnie (Jack) McDavitt, Marsha (John) Prieboy, and Patti (Kurt) Murray; proud papa of Lori McDavitt, Jeffrey, and John Prieboy, Christopher, Alex, and Matthew Murray. Also survived by special nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Theresa Kapsch, and a brother, Albert Kapsch. Edward was born in Joliet and resided in the Joliet and Crest Hill areas throughout most of his lifetime. Retired in 1981 as a foreman from GAF after 40 years of service. Past member of the Old Timers Baseball Association and Northwest Recreation Club. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home would be appreciated.
