Edward James Jesionowski

Edward James Jesionowski, Age 86, entered eternal life on Friday, March 21, 2014.
Edward is survived by his loving children, Norbert (Carol), Catherine (Robert) Cavanaugh, Teresa (Raymond) Protich, and James (Teresa); ten cherished grandchildren; and eight beloved great-grandchildren. Edward was also the uncle, cousin, and brother-in-law to many.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice (nee Kordas); four brothers; and four sisters.
Edward was a long time parishioner of Queen of the Universe Parish. He served proudly in the United States Army and Navy. Edward was a passionate Cubs fan who loved taking his family to the ballpark and rarely missed a game.
A Celebration of Edward's life will begin on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 with prayers in the funeral home chapel beginning at 9:30 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL. Visitation will be on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL 60435.
