Edward Foschi, Jr. ""Eddie""
At rest Sunday February 18, 2007 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. Born June 23, 1934, Edward was the son of the late Edward and Theresa (nee Zitello) Foschi, also preceded in death by one sister, Maria Lavazza. Survivors include his loving children, Jack (Jennifer), Edward V., Alfred J. Foschi and Brianne (Ray) Flink; five grandchildren, Jacob, Britney, Justin and Joey Foschi, and Vincent Flink; brothers and sisters, Alfred W., Mildred (Raymond) Hays, Joseph R. Shirley (Late Richard) Lilek, and Phyllis (George) Comerford; and brother-in-law, Phillip Lavazza. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Edward attended Chaney Grade School and later entered into the sewer, water, excavating and wrecking business with his brothers under the name of Foschi Brothers. Edward was involved in the demolition of many buildings in the Greater Joliet Area including the old will County Court House. Edward was also owner of various waste hauling companies which had contracts with various municipalities including the City of Joliet. Edward Donated to many causes in the greater Joliet area.
