Earl G. Parks, passed away suddenly at his home, age 53. Preceded by his parents, Richard (2001) and Josephine (2011) Parks. Survived by 9 siblings, Richard (Joyce deceased), Ronald (Patricia), James, Nicholas, Stephen(Catherine) and Theodore(Mary) Parks, Jodene Rathbun, Charlene(Eugene) DiVecchio and Christine (Joseph) Chierigatti; 14 nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Donna Figueroa. Lifelong resident of Joliet. Past parishioner of S.S. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Graduated in 1980 from Joliet Central High School. He was an avid antique collector and garage-sale enthusiast. Earl was the most generous, thoughtful person, always willing to help others. He was a wonderful brother who is loved and will be missed dearly. Funeral services for Earl G. Parks will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 9:30 am from Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd. to St. Anne's Catholic Church Crest Hill, for a 10:00am Mass of Christian burial. Interment S.S. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Pisut Funeral Services, in charge of arrangements.
