Dusan Grubisich ""Chico"" Age 82
At rest Friday August 6, 2010 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years Milka (nee Novakovich), loving father of Nick (Elizabeth) Grubisich of Joliet, Mollie Reposh of Lockport, Dearest grandfather of Danial and Martha Grubisich, Kiersten, Kaitlyn, , Regan and Ryan Reposh his most beloved grand son (Buddy), four sisters , Mildred (Late John) Skoryi, Sophie ( late Val) Chuck, Dollie (Jack) Book, Martha (Bob) Vucich, two brothers Ely (Late Betty) and Peter (Late Mary) Grubisich. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins Preceded in death by his parents Vaso and Eva (nee Burian) Grubisich, two sisters Helen Grubisich and Mary Schroder, brother Mike ""Mila"" Grubisich. Dusan was born in Lockport IL. And a life long resident. He retired in 1984 as an Iron Worker Local #444, Veterian of the US Navy serving in the Pacific Theatre. Member of St George Serbian Church and the Lockport Post 100 #5788.
A Celebration of Dusan Grubisich"s life will be held on Monday August 9, 2010. With prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM, then in procession to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church for services at 10:00 A.M. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 8 P.M. Prayer service at 7:30 P.M.
