Drew Sebastian Abernathy, 35, of Joliet, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 13, 2024. His sudden passing has left a deep sorrow in the hearts of all who knew him.

He was a vibrant, compassionate person with an infectious smile and an open heart. Drew’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering loyalty made him a beloved husband, friend, brother, son, and confidant. His ability to light up any room with his humor and kindness will forever be remembered.

He always sought to bring joy to those around him and was known for his willingness to help others, whether through a kind word or a selfless action. Drew’s spirit of giving and his deep love for his family and friends will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Drew is survived by his loving wife, parents, siblings, and close relatives. His family and friends will forever hold his memory close, finding comfort in the love he gave and the light he brought into their lives.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 P.M. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, Illinois. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow in accordance with the family’s wishes.
