Dorothy Shepich

August 6, 1929 — March 19, 2016

Dorothy  Shepich (nee Pribish), age 86, entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 19, 2016 with her loving family by her side.

Dorothy is survived by her loving daughter, Karen Shepich; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Shepich; parents, Samuel and Pauline Pribish; siblings, Mary (Andy) Yadlosky, Agnes (Tony) Pirc, Nicholas (Edythe) Pribish, Fred (Dorothy) Pribish, Olga (William) Witczak, Tanya (Leo) Kren, Sam Pribish Jr., and Sonia (Jack) Bill; two infant brothers; and brother and sister-in-law, Lucille (Fred) Shepich.

Dorothy was the ultimate homemaker and a fabulous “Momma/Lambchop.” She was a truly beautiful person from the inside out. She was a great baker. She was the financial secretary at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church for 37 years. Words cannot explain how much Dorothy will be missed.

Donations in Dorothy’s name to St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, would be greatly appreciated.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Presence St. Joseph Progressive Care unit 4 west and Dr. Margo Wolf for the superior care provided.

Funeral services for Dorothy will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service to be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 1018 Barber Lane, Joliet, IL 60435. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. There will be NO services held at the funeral home.
